Consider becoming a Walbridge School Volunteer!
Volunteer support makes a world of difference to the students and staff at Walbridge as well as local communities. Your talents and abilities enable Walbridge to thrive as an effective, student-focused school.
Here are some of the opportunities we have to offer:
- Student support in the classroom (read stories, share talents, help the teachers)
This could be an especially rewarding option for retired educators.
- Office work
- School improvement projects (carpentry, painting, and repairs)
- Assistance with outreach, promotion, and fundraising
- Helping with community events …especially BratFest
- Gardening and other environmental projects and programs
If you have professional experience or a strong commitment to student learning, you might even consider serving on our Board of Directors.
As a parent, volunteer options include joining the PTO, donating your time for special functions, and helping us spread the word about Walbridge School's good work.
